I am looking for any useful advise/ hint /resource I might get regarding fully-loaded-(or credit card/cash) touring /cycling in Syria.

My plans are to fly to turkey and cycle to syria doing like a round trip for like 3-4 weeks in march/ april 2007.

Any recomendations on sites, weather,best time of the year, must-sees etc will be appreciated.
